Armenian Assembly Western Region and the Armenian National Institute spearheaded a special event at the Young Men’s Christian Association on June 24 in Glendale, to honor YMCA volunteers John Elder and James O. Arroll, who were instrumental in relief work during the Armenian Genocide. We are grateful to have been part of this rewarding event. Members of AGBU leadership were in attendance including Central Board Member Lena Sarkissian, Community Affairs Representative Talin Yacoubian, Asbeds Chair Shahan Minassian, and West Coast Office Director Gohar Stambolyan.
